Our Student Success Coach Model

At ThrivePoint Academy Oklahoma, every student is assigned a dedicated Student Success Coach from the day they enroll. Unlike traditional schools where students may interact with multiple staff members without a single advocate, every ThrivePoint student has one trusted adult focused on helping them succeed academically, socially, and personally.

Student Success Coaches are dedicated mentors who work closely with students to help them stay on track, build confidence, and prepare for their Next Big Step(TM). Coaches help students develop an Individual Graduation Plan, monitor academic progress, improve attendance and engagement, set weekly goals, explore careers, prepare for college, and connect families with school resources.

Coaches check in regularly, help set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate achievements. They’re trained to support both academic and social-emotional needs, making sure students feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

Our Student Success Coaches are more than mentors—they’re motivators, guides, and champions for every student. Their mission is to:

• Communicate clearly and consistently
• Encourage and celebrate progress
• Guide students through challenges
• Equip them with confidence and problem-solving skills
• Help identify strengths and areas for growth
• Hold students accountable to their goals

Every student begins with a personalized success plan. Coaches review academic progress, identify barriers, coordinate with teachers, communicate regularly with families, and adjust support throughout the school year, because success is not just about academics, it is about believing in yourself.
